MacDaddy
If ever they manage to do a convincing nylon string model, I'd be tempted.
EdwardMarlowe
The top of the line Premium model I remember as looking nice, though they only did the mid level left-handed. For my preferences, I'm more leaning towards the Fender Acoustasonic range these days, hoping they eventually do a Mexican version of those. Skinnyman
A friend had the Variax briefly and got rid because the build quality was terrible. This may not be true of all of them but worth bearing in mind.
Skinnyman
This looks interesting. Not sure I’d pay £2k though. My GR55 has a decent nylon guitar patch so I’ll stick with that
Stub Mandrel
I jammed with a guy who had one. He used it for transposing. It was a tricky session - he was one of those people who transposes everything to suit his voice. Do some people have a range of 1 1/2 octaves? police squad
I have a JTV-59. Bought it when it came out. It is very good I also bought the A/B switch for it, so the acoustic sounds go straight to the PA. It also powers the guitar It's a great bit of kit, used it in 2 different bands where I had to switch between electric and acoustic during the same song. Just sits in my guitar rack these days, as I don't need the capability but I keep it, just in case Lovely build quality

Put loads of distortion and delay on it, you'll never notice the difference.
