  1. Here's my take on a Firecaster/Telebird (I can't decide what to call it!?!) Its going to be relic'd slightly as its made out of scrap wood the back is made out of an old pine floor joist from a local church hall that is being renovated and the top is the sides from my little boys old bed I've mocked up how it will look My next build is going to be a Jagcaster that is going to be made out of some more reclaimed materials except it is going to be oak topped..........

  2. A topic for photos of folks' Builds. I'll start it off with a photo of the guitar built by Our Eldest, and finished (but are they ever really finished..?) the other day. It plays well, too... Over to you, then; show us your Builds...

  3. Hi All, Patrick from Up North. Been with Basschat for years. Been getting more into guitar, still finding my way with those 2 extra stings. A few of my toys. In the process of rehashing my board having just got the G3 Atom and Chase Bliss Preamp, any help or suggestions welcomed.

  4. Both guitars are Ivison, the gold one with P90 is a Fillmore and tobacco burst is a Dakota.

  5. Agreed, he’s a superb guitarist and a fine keyboard player too. I’m not familiar with Lifesigns. I must check them out. He’s also working with the current incarnation of the Strawbs, played on their last two (excellent) albums and has guested on Chas Cronk’s recently released solo album. A busy man and with an album of his own due out soon, I think

  6. What I always liked about Cobain was how his playing served the song rather than dominated it. That's something I prize as when I listen to music I want to hear a band working as a whole - I'm just not interested in listening to one part dominating the whole and drawing all the attention, all the time.

  7. Bob Mould, most underrated musician of all time in my humble opinion Kurt Cobain, not the most complex but just the right sound at the right time Billy Duffy, just love that sound

  8. Up for grabs in my beloved Valley Arts Custom Pro made for and used by Christopher Cross!! This is a one off opportunity to own a famous Valley Arts guitar, which is also in the beautiful fireburst finish and has 1 piece flamed maple body! (You can't get those anymore) The guitars serial number is VA0119 and was made in 1985 in Studio City which is VA's golden era! The guitar is all original and has Christopher Crosses name engraved on the neck plate I am more after for trades than selling it really, I am after another Valley Arts or possible a Jim Burst James Tyler. Please contact me for a shipping quote, pickup preferred though. It does have a few marks, but nothing major. Thanks
