Crusoe
This was a real impulse buy. I was on Andertons site yesterday and saw one of these in flat black, second hand for £300. It looked gorgeous with gold machinery and pups. I thought about it for a while and eventually added it to the basket, then sat thinking some more. At that point our pizza was delivered. After a tasty pepperoni passion, I went back upstairs, got ready to pull the trigger and notice big red letters saying "out of stock". I was looking at other colours and saw that my local shop had the cherry red in stock. I took a run down, had a bit of a play and whipped out the credit card. It looks fantastic. It's a fairly inexpensive guitar, so there are one or two very minor cosmetic issues that you wouldn't really notice unless you look very hard, but it sounds great. It's going to take a while to get used to block inlays, rather than dots. Incidentally, in the shop I was playing through a Laney Super Cub, which sounded really good. ezbass
Well, that looks perfectly fine to my eyes. It looks to have a slightly reduced body compared to a 335, which is a good, ergonomic thing in my book. The quick release tailpiece is really sensible too.
FrankAtari
I think it's absolutely gorgeous and functional. I am really impressed with what I see. I was thinking of getting a hollow body guitar because I find my Tele far too heavy. Well done with your purchase. Enjoy that beauty.

Yep, centre blocked, 335 types can still weigh in on the high side, especially if the block is something dense like maple. For proper light weight, you’ll want fully hollow, like a Casino. Even then, check it out, if you can (for the record my Casino Coupé is feather light, even with a Bigsby).
Dad3353
I cannot say how much (or little...) my vintage Hofner Verithin weighs; every time I put it on the scales, it floats up to the ceiling. ... Crusoe
The photos don't actually do it justice. As the name implies, the paint job is transparent, so there's lovely wood grain visible underneath.

Anyway I am also considering a headless guitar from Ibanez, I know for a fact that those are light.
