Pea Turgh Posted May 21, 2023 Share Posted May 21, 2023 Hello. A friend has asked me for some advice on active pickup wiring in his old Tokai Breezysound tele. The sound is crackly and intermittent, so appears to be a wiring issue (though could it be the pickups themselves?) I’m a simple 4 stringer, so anything beyond a split P confuses my little brain. This is where you come in! The Tokai is fitted with a set of EMGs - neck is labelled “HCC CAC FT”, bridge “HGJ CAC”. The wiring looks a bit messy.
