  1. Thanks everyone. Do you have this one? Anyone have here. Another question a typical pedal board for a cross cover of music genre what pedals would be on it?
  2. Good afternoon all. I'm currently putting together a pedal board, I don't have many pedals atm. I have boss ch1 super chorus Boss rc3 looper Boss metal zone Tc Prophecy delay And a cry baby I was wondering if there was a specific order you'd have them in? I have the looper last in the setup I'm assuming it can capture all effects if needed? 2nd regarding powering these pedals, has anyone experience of cheap 30 to 40 pound pedal power supplies on amazon? Or is something like a 90 quid fuel tank the way to go? Ps I'm a home player and likey to add a couple more pedals at some point. Thanks. V
  3. Did Google found a WS jazz guitar for sale but not details on the company nor history
  4. Only ones i have at the moment, probably dont do it justice.
  5. Hold on, at work now but i did take some.
  6. Eventually pulled the trigger on a Gibson LP standard. Beautiful sounding, beautiful just to gawp at love it.
  7. I've actually got an order for the Epiphone atm, however between the retailer/carrier who have appeared to have lost it somewhere between Germany/UK im now awaiting a refund. The loss shipment has given me pause for thought on the gibson because the epi is pretty much out of stock everywhere. I like the 60s Standard and while the epi rolls in at an affordable price compared to over 2k for the real deal. Was just wondering where the Tribute sits? Yeah its bugger not being able to try out feel it. Guess its youtube for me. Thanks for your opinion.
  8. Looking at getting a Les Paul The gibson nearly twice the price of the Epiphone is it worth the extra cash, thoughts? https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Gibson-Les-Paul-Tribute-Satin-Tobacco-Burst/2X9N And https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Epiphone-Les-Paul-Standard-60s-Bourbon-Burst/399Y

    Fake guitars

I was flicking through Facebook this morning and its quite normal to get the usual adverts and post from Gak guitar guitar etc, I got one from some random guitar seller. This seller was selling Gibson, Taylors and all the other famous brands for 85 quid each under some bs it's a collection being sold off. I guessing with brands like Gibson and the like guitars costing thousands it's a big business, but who actually would take a punt of an 85 quid Gibson les paul? My recent purchase a epiphone Ej 200 cost me 400 quid and I reckon looking at the workmanship there isn't a huge mark up. How bad must these guitars be at 85 quid? Guitars look beautiful in the photos, I had a scroll through the website I bet the photos are of the real McCoy, and bare no resemblance to the real guitars.
  11. Sorry the placards didn't register when I read the post. Here's my new pride and joy well chuffed with it.
  12. My lovely EJ-200SCE arrived today, real pretty in vintage sun burst, I did originally say black, but very pleased with the build and finish of this, a real cracker. Bare in mind I've up graded from an epiphone Pro-1 plus in sunburst, the difference is startling, feels like a real proper piece of kit. I don't want to be disrespectful of my old starter guitar, has served me well and taught me much. These ej200s can really belt out can't they even without being plugged in also very nice tone when gently strumming, yeah I think it's a winner for me. Great service from Guitar Guitar had it delivered on a Sunday for an extra tenner. Thanks again for your comments and input.
  13. 6 is enough for me, I wasn't considering the 12 well not yet . After much consideration, and a nearly swing to the tanglewood TW4 koa I've finally decided on the EJ-200SCE has been calling me the loudest. Thanks for all your advice and input.
  14. 12 string are they very difficult to play? struggling with the 6 lol. I bet the sound must be amazing.
  15. It's very pretty I must agree
  16. https://www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/product/tw4ekoa/ Tempted by this one
  17. Thanks, the restraint is mostly down to what the Mrs will say when the huge box arrives haven't ordered it yet
  18. Thanks, very tempted to buy it, wasn't intending to buy for a few months. One more question these l pre amp take batteries I understand, where exactly would the batteries be hidden away? Difficult to change?
  19. Thanks, wasn't sure about it, just wondered why they were using a different one, stock depleted everywhere however guitarguitar has the fishman version.
  20. I've noticed the epiphone ej200 sce is being sold with different electrics, fishmans and the esonic2 anyone have any knowledge of this?
  21. Will have a look thx, I do the love the look of the epiphone though, thinking the vintage look now.
  22. I'm heavily leaning towards the epiphone EJ-200SCE in black , not buying for a couple of months yet so shall see if anything else tickles my fancy.
  23. Plan to treat myself in the autumn to a new guitar had picked out an epiphone ej200 but getting my head turned by others. Anyone have any knowledge of the guitars linked below. I would like a good all round acoustic electric guitar, and any recommendations the Taylor is top end of the price I want to spend. Tanglewood how are they rated? https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/200129354941008--epiphone-ej200sce-vintage-sunburst-fishman https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/190618345094008--taylor-110ce-mn

    Hello

Little introduction from me, late starter to guitar. Been playing just a couple of years still learning still enjoying it. It started when I purchased a classical guitar from lidl supermarket yes thats right lidl, wasn't a very good guitar went back 3 days later but that was enough to reel me in. Replaced the lidl special with a epiphone pro1 ultra acoustic and also a squire fender 70s vibe strat. Since I started my guitar journey my music tastes have expanded into music I'd never have listened too, but I now try to play too. I will keep on playing now, I can't see myself ever stopping. I like anything really soul/funk, Indy, Rock anything that appeals I'll have a nose round see what's what Regards Variable
