ibanezImy Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Hi. I've noticed I've managed to pull out the socket on the guitar from the outside and sometimes the sound breaks. But most of the time it's still working. What's the best way to repair it? Thanks
FrankAtari Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 Ok I see the problem now. It has to be fixed or it's gonna ge worse. The jack is held in place by a nut, this nut probably went loose You can access the nut from the back of your guitar Find the plastic cover that corresponds to the position of the jack Remove the screws and open the tray Now you should see the inner side of the jack and the nut that went loose Tighten the nut and you're done Ps this instruction should be correct, however I'm not sure what is the exact model of your guitar. Also you may find a youtube tutorial to guide you if needed. 1
