Checking wiring on a Squier Mustang, 2 humbuckers and 3-way switch. Tone pot wasn’t working so checked the wiring and found the following: live from switch to vol pot middle lug Vol pot middle lug to jack live vol pot LH lug to tone pot not sure how this was working at all, but tune pot did work. so I changed live from the switch to vol pot LH lug and the tone pot now works. 2 questions really. Is this now correct and how was it working at all in the first place? thanks for any advice.
