  1. You could get a set of fishman fluence pickups. Most of the sets have their selectable voices set to both ballsy active tones, and more vintagey passive kinda tones. (the Matt Heafy set seems to be the most like what you're looking for) They're pretty pricey, but honestly It's a much better (and far more convenient) option than messing about installing passive and active pickups side by side in one guitar and hoping for the best.
  2. How quiet of a "home volume" are we talking? Are we talking detached house with forgiving neighbours, or "I live in a flat and my neighbours are annoyed at the slightest noise", or whatever point in between? Also, what kind of guitar do you play, what genres of music do you play, are you okay with wearing headphones? The more info you can give the better.
  3. I cant say for sure what the sticker residue is from, but USA squiers had their serial numbers on the front of the headstock as you can see in these other pictures.
  4. USA made Squiers were made around 89/91. When they have a legit serial number, ive seen them sell for anywhere between 150 and 600 depending on condition and wether it has the accessories and such. But with serial number completely scratched off the front of the headstock so cleanly and obviously purposefully? I'm gonna say that it's in all likelihood stolen, so nobody's going to be willing to pay anywhere near top price for it. I personally wouldn't buy it at all because of the serial number situation, but you could probably get somewhere around 100-150 for it.
