Total Plectrums

  1. This is interesting. I've found cheap Ernie Ball strings on ebay in the past and wanted to avoid buying them. Their price was around 5 pounds for pack. I have decided to buy strings from reputable guitar store but on ebay as well. And below I am attaching pics for you to compare. Both packs were bought from guitar stores on ebay but both packaging look different and this brings my concerns. Send picks of you strings! Look at the tonality bars and silver strip at the bottom of packaging.
  2. Ok. I've got it. Diagram is allright. My soldering was bad.
  3. I've got two Sterling humbuckers and there are 5 cables coming out of them: white+green=north black+red=south gray=ground (that is, according to me, the same cable colors as the Fender humbuckers in the diagram below) [when soldering I simply swapped the red cable for the green one]. I would like to split them using a push-pull potentiometer, and here is where the problem arises, because the diagram below does not work. When the potentiometer is pressed, it switches only to the pickup in the neck or bridge position. In the middle setting it does not activate both. With the potentiometer pulled out it's identical. It splits coils in the humbuckers but doesn't activate both single coils in pickups. Could anyone help with this?
