That's an option but i was thinking keeping the hb on to permananantly give the singles a but of a lift

Ive never done that i always play before i buy even when I started out dan a freind of mine came wuth me to make sure i was bying somethung decent but i do still look at looks wheni walk in a shop and i sometimes get both a looker and a sounder or just a sounder but if i get just a sounder then ithas been known for the sander to come out and take it back to the bare wood and either a leave it natural or b paint it

Ive had an idea the idea is for my next guitar project i am going to build a strat with a humbucker in the middle postion wich will be permently turned on and the two single coils would be what you switch between now i am no expert here so any help would be much appreciated ie would it be possible to wire any pitfalls etc thanks guys

Ohhh edward what bliss a strat with p90s i only been playing them a day and i havent put them down my poor old pro strat feels neglected

This is my p90 equipped encore blaster i brought this because I didn't want to spend a load of cash on a p90 equipped guitar but boy has this surprised me it plays like a dream it sounds like a dream they are build quality issues of course for 95 quid there will be but it does prove a point to me if you look you can find a chaep guitar that is an absolute bargin what do you think

I think buy which one you like the look of and will make you want to play it. Any shortcomings can be sorted out by a setup or hardware upgrade. Perhaps the Epi might hold its value better should you move it along, but I may be wrong there (it's certainly true of basses).
Well said ezbass it's never the tone of a guitar that has caught me when I first walk un a shop its the looks

Im Craig ive been playing now for sixteen years and i am the proud owner of a fender professional stratocaster and as of today an encore blaster equiped with p90s brought because i didnt want to spend a shed load of cash on a p90 equiped guitar as it my first experience with p90s my main type if music i play is blues im a joe bonnamassa geek so hopefully i will get to know you all in time

Wuggis this isnt the first time its happened i brought a squirer classic vibe 50s replica telecaster years ago and that did the same thing i still have bitsa today but not the same as i brought her she has had new pick ups a rewire new neck but ive still got her like i said they are cheap guitats out there that stand out you just have to keep your eyes and ears open
