  1. Fender USA 2000 Hot-Rodded Roadhouse Stratocaster. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE LATER MEXICAN MADE ROADHOUSE For sale is my USA Roadhouse Strat originally bought from PJ Guitars in Portsmouth, UK. - The Roadhouse was a standard USA strat with Fender Texas Special pickups The neck pickup into a clean fender amp with reverb is the stuff of dreams! This is an amazing player with a few tasteful mods to it's stock condition, all mods and pro set up with 10s were carried out by the Guitar Doctor in Nantwich. The mods are as follows: Tone controls apply to the Neck and Bridge pickups, with the Middle pickup having no tone load in place. Bridge tone control can be pulled up to split the coils of the bridge humbucker. Villex Passive Mid-Boost https://www.barryrudolph.com/newtoys/toys5/villex.html This selected along with the Neck and middle pickups and a tasteful amount of overdrive give an almost Les Paul type tone, sounds beautiful. I used it also to stand out in the mix more during solos etc Bare Knuckle VH2 bridge pickup https://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/pickup/humbucker/vhii This replaced the original Texas special bridge single coil and gives a great rhythm sound Fender Locking Tuners https://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_schaller_locking_tuner_ch.htm Graphtech nut & saddles https://graphtech.com/pages/electric-saddles Tuning is rock solid with these in place Dunlop Straploks https://www.jimdunlop.com/straplok-strap-retainers-dual-design-nickel/ I'm selling as I no longer play guitar having fallen in love with the Bass, this has been absolutely treasured during my ownership and I've debates selling during the last couple of years, however I can't see myself picking the guitar up again now. Tremolo arm Inc along with case. Questions happily answered! Good luck with the bidding! Cheers Matt
