Hi guys, just posted my fender strat for sale at £700 is it ok to do this?i dont pay a membership so thought I should check. Apologies if this isn’t allowed and please take it down if it shouldn’t be there. Robert
  2. Hi, I’m selling my strat. I bought it from a luthier in 2011 and it has been an amazing guitar! It sold on eBay last week for £760 but the buyer never paid. I will relist this Wednesday as I’m able to retain seller fees then. I probably shouldn’t sell before Wednesday just in case he does decide to pay but I really can’t see that happening as he’s not replied to any messages! I think it’s a fairly rare strat and still plays incredibly well (in my opinion anyway) I don’t know weight (no scales at home) but more than happy for people to demo it. Blurb from my eBay ad pasted below: Made in the USA in 1995 as a limited edition 50th anniversary strat. I don’t know all the details but the serial number on headstock is pictured if you want to find out more. I bought this from a luthier in 2011 and it plays incredibly well. You’ll see that I’ve taken photos to illustrate scratches and wear marks. There are a few as might be expected from a 25 year old guitar but overall it still looks great and plays amazingly well with no fret buzzing at all. It’s sunburst, not sure what wood the body is or neck but has a rosewood fret board. 5 way pick up switch. Definitely one of the nicest playing strats I’ve ever played. Am reluctantly selling as first and foremost I’m a bassist and am saving for my dream bass. This is for collection from clanfield in Hampshire, I have no box to post it!
