We are a drummer and a bassist looking for a guitarist to join us at a weekly Friday afternoon rehearsal at Storm rehearsal studios, next to Holloway Rd tube station. We are both intermediate level musicians, looking for someone who is prepared to learn the covers we are doing. We have auditioned a couple of guitarists but they both wanted us to do their stuff and weren't prepared to learn our covers. If you consider yourself a team player and would like to play with a rhythm section then please get in touch.
We play a varied bunch of covers by: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Dire Straits, the Police, the Eagles, Bryan Adams, Nirvana, Joy Division, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, The Cure, Thin Lizzy and others. We are keen to add songs to our repertoire and would be willing to learn some of your choices if you are prepared to learn ours.
Our plan is to start gigging when we are ready and covid -19 allows. if you are prepared to show a similar level of commitment to us, want to play in a gigging band and are a team player, please get in touch. We are not after an expert with 20 years experience but someone who is keen to learn and has the ability and time to learn new stuff.
