  3. Looks like a sweet little set up! Had no idea Barefaced did guitar cabs(as opposed to bass cabs)
  4. Is it barre chords you are having problems with? I found I lacked finger strength initially & had to concentrate to make sure there was no buzzing I'm not perfect yet but practice it is naki g it better,my first barre I git right was Bminor as it cropped up in a song I really wanted to learn & couldn't cheat it!
  5. I'm doing exactly that & have my first lesson on Monday.. technique & practice structure is what I most need from 1 to 1 lessons plus being accountable in between lessons!

  8. Hi! As I'm pretty new to guitars I don't have a huge amount of experience that I can draw on to give advice, but Richards Guitars are doing the LAG brand starting at £199.. Richard has every guitar he sells fully checked & set up so you won't get a lemon, here's a new vid he's done on those.
  9. Welcome aboard! I've found justinguitar.com really useful, it's a fully free online guitar course starting from the very basics which includes techniques specific to the issues you mention about fingers touching other strings, good luck!

  13. Hello! I've been bitten by the guitar bug at the age of 46 having been able to play very basic stuff for years. Currently working my way through Justinguitar.com beginners course & will start actual lessons in 2 weeks.. I've been having fun with the app Tonebridge which gives you loads of guitar tone/song settings as 'pedals' also using an iRig but suffering with some latency issues as I'm using an android phone. My guitars: an acoustic 'Gemini@ model by Vintage which can be both strung as baritone & standard I have it as standard & a Prs custom 24 that I managed to get for a steal! Cheers! Gav
