Not to be confused with the original Bluesbreaker pedal, which was essentially a preamp-in-a-box - this is a dedicated, dual-mode overdrive pedal. "Boost" mode is a transparent-sounding clean boost, designed to push the front end of your amp harder, while "Blues" mode gives a much more shaped (and saturated!) tone, reminiscent of the original Bluesbreaker amps being dimed.

I bought this pedal back in something like 2010. It was my main distortion effect for a while, and did a handful of gigs with me, but as I've experimented with new effects and different amps, I find myself using it less and less. I still have the original box and user's manual, which are a little worn in places (see pictures); the pedal itself is in excellent condition. Only one thing: the controls originally had black position indicators painted on them, which have mostly rubbed off over the years. Up to you whether you leave them as is, or paint some new ones on!

This is an OC-2 clone without the volume drop and the -2 octave, and includes a filter for the -1 octave sound. Synthy sounds galore and very accurate oc2 tones.

The dry signal is also a recreation of the echoplex preamp, making it very versatile. Unity is at 12 o'clock so you can also use this pedal as a clean boost with some character.

This pedal contains all the models of the Line 6 early multi-pedals (DL4, MM4 etc), whilst offering you much more flexibility and access to options that weren’t previously available. 

I used this pedal mostly as a reverb/delay/synth machine and using two expression pedals which you can map to any controls within seconds; you just put the pedal in heel-down, decide on the M13 sounds, then put the pedal in toe-down and change however many parameters you choose. The expression pedals now smoothly fade between your two settings, which can be as subtle as ‘a little bit more drive’ or as extreme as you can imagine (that Particle Verb is next-level!). 

Using this with the Boss LS2 (also available) adds the option of parallel routing and I strongly recommend looking at this option, as well as the expression pedals, to fully open up the possibilities of this beast. 

I’ve not listed the expression pedals yet, as I’ll send them for free if you buy the M13 and one of the pedalboard cases.

It has been out of the box once, plugged in, switched on, played a note or two just to check it was working ok, otherwise unused. therefore unmarked and as new. Fully boxed with all the paperwork/manual. These retail for around £269 new. If you buy from new a power supply is not included. I will throw in a 1-Spot 9v power supply (about £23worth). Purchased this from Coda Music in Stevenage on 9th September this year which makes it 27 days old. Got it home, updated it to the latest software version and then put it back in its box where it's been ever since. I play straight into a QSC and I'm going back to using the much simpler Fishman Platinum Pro. No idea why I bought it really, it's my third Stomp now, the first two went unused too, I suppose I thought I'd use it but was wrong... thrice.

It is as new, still has it's screen cover on, complete with USB, mains and original packaging and updated to the latest firmware Helix/HX 3.15 (released February 8, 2022).

You can pick up from Southend or meet between our locations or I'm happy to deliver to you (within reason, try me, I like a long drive) or add a tenner to the price (£460) and I'll post next day delivery.
