About us:

We are all long term players with a long history of metal music under our belts and we are also all based in different locations.

Guitarist is based in the Havant area, Bassist in Portsmouth, Drummer in Southampton and the Singer in Basingstoke. We have made this work through modern bedroom tools and get together once every few weeks for an in person rehearsal. We have invested in equipment for our live performances to ensure accuracy of the playing.

Our goal is to take this material live within the next few months.

I write and record melodic death metal music - think Amon Amarth, At The Gates, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Edge of Sanity (I sometimes wonder if I was Swedish in a previous life!).

It's a one-man show at the moment, but I'd love to turn it into an actual band and play live. I'd handle bass and vocals, so I need two guitarists (at least one of whom can do a bit of soloing), and a drummer.

I know full well that finding a decent and available metal drummer is as likely as finding a unicorn, but you never know. I'd be happy to use programmed drums to begin with - maybe once we get out there and tear it up someone will come out of the woodwork.

I tend to like writing complete songs - I've never been good at writing by jamming stuff out in the studio - I'd rather use that time for getting things as tight as possible. Best to get that out there at the start - I'm not a total control freak dictator, but I've developed a pretty clear sense of what I want to sound like.

Age is not important to me, but if it is to you, I'm 40.

Oh also, everything's in B standard tuning.

We play a varied bunch of covers by: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Dire Straits, the Police, the Eagles, Bryan Adams, Nirvana, Joy Division, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, The Cure, Thin Lizzy and others.  We are keen to add songs to our repertoire and would be willing to learn some of your choices if you are prepared to learn ours.

Our plan is to start gigging when we are ready and covid -19 allows.  if you are prepared to show a similar level of commitment to us, want to play in a gigging band and are a team player, please get in touch.  We are not after an expert with 20 years experience but someone who is keen to learn and has the ability and time to learn new stuff.

Current guitarist is heading to pastures new with a Travelling Willbury's tribute show so we need a committed, reliable, pro standard guitarist with BV's and transport aged somewhere in the 18-40 range. 

Plenty of gigs, all paying min £150 with agency keeping us busy.

We work with in ears so must be comfortable with that

Loads of gigging experience, touring, pro, semi pro and recording work over the years. Bit of a “jack of most styles” solid dependable journeyman type.

I live in Northampton and have accommodation in Poole, Dorset. Willing to travel or stay away and get really busy gigging.

Early influences include 60’s pop (The Searchers, The Hollies), Motown and Stax all the way to early Fleetwood Mac, Led Zep, Hendrix, Groundhogs and the like.

Toured with "Freddie Fingers Lee" during the Rock and Roll revival of the 80's with TV appearances in Germany and France.

Worked the European NATO basses in the American rock covers band “Private Life”. Most of that work came through the agency AIR in Spennymore.

Spent the 90's and 00's doing the northern club circuit and lots of functions/weddings/hotel type work.

After running my own band from 2003 to about 2012 things started to go a bit quite when my long time guitarist/vocalist associate and friend had to call it a day.

I’ve ended up doing lots of dep type jobs around London and the home counties since then (that’s good for my playing but I much prefer to do a well honed gig).

I worked for a 3 piece Putney based pub band “Red Herring” playing early 60's R&B and Blues up till March 2017. I’m still doing the odd dep for them. Thats me doing the vocal on Sonny Thompson number ( https//youtu.be/KHgaOjbUZZ8 )

I plan to up my game next year so I’m on the hunt for an exclusive permanent band.

This might involve joining an existing group of probably equally well seasoned players or finding an individual like minded guitarist/vocalist that can help quickly put something together from almost scratch that requires minimal rehearsing.
